as i read the comments i see that people were having trouble with the instructions so i figured I'd help. i am taking no credit for anything just writing what i did.
1. Download this torrent
2. Once downloaded you will see 6 files one file is called avd-ee3 and it is a .mdf file this is the important file.
3. Now depending on what program you use, i use (daemon tools)you need to mount this file.
4. Make sure that your preferences in daemon tools allows it to open .mdf files. to do this open daemon tools go to (tools)> then (preferences) then look for the tab that says integration make sure mdf is checked.
5. Now lets mount the file. create a new scsi virtual drive, then right click the new drive an click mount. it will open up a window find the folder called Empire earth 3. change the file type to all files then select the file.
6. Now the easy part =P right click on the now mounted empire earth 3 select (open in file explorer).
7. Now look for the (setup.exe) click and run. it will begin to install the game but not before it asks for a serial key. the key is found in the folder you downloaded in a text file name (README!!!) please take note of where the game is installing. most likely the c: drive.
8. Now one more step! open the folder you Downloaded the one with 6 files look for the file EE3 copy that file. now open the game directory. c: drive > program files > sierra entertainment > Empire Earth 3. now paste the file you copied here. say yes to any overwriting. once done create shortcut of the file you pasted and put it on your desktop.
9. Exit everything and click on the new shortcut to play the game! Enjoy =) I hope this was of some help to peopple who were having problems
